Johnny The Boy is an experience.
Since his arrival on Miami Beach he has pushed his eclectic style of rock & roll, disco, new wave and hip-hop from the infamous underground parties such as the Revolver, Damaged!, & Black Sundays to new heights as a regular at Florida Room at The Delano, Red Room at The Shore Club, Plunge at The Gansevoort, The Setai Courtyard and clubs such as Mokai, RokBar, & Louis. All of this leading to working with high end lifestyle clients such as Cartier, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Gucci & Marc Jacobs to providing the soundtrack to fashion shows for Playboy, IZOD/Indy Car Series with N.E.R.D, Heatherette, True Religion, and Christian Audiger as the preferred DJ of Miami Fashion Week, even being flown to Europe with drummer Cindy Blackman of Lenny Kravitz fame to perform for launch Jennifer Lopez’s line Sweet Face.
Johnny has performed at high-profile parties at the New York Fashion Week, Andy Warhol Art Basel Closing Party Super Bowl XLII Pre Party for the Indianapolis Colts, Food & Wine Festival for Bobby Flay and pool side at the Fontainebleau for Victoria Secret Fashion Show. He has also been featured in several publications including GQ, Ocean Drive, 944 & New Times.
Whether its performing among hipster friends Steve Aoki, Paul Sevigny, The Misshapes, Andre` & Wade Crescent or for big names in entertainment as Pharrell, Russell Simmons, Lindsey Lohan, Kelly Osbourne, Cee Lo, Kelis, Pitbull & Lil` Jon, he has defiantly proven himself to be a tastemaker and must have in the nightlife industry. Johnny says, “I pride myself very much for pushing my taste and giving people new experience with out loosing our connection, no two crowds are the same – always keeps me on my toes.”
